We plant the potatoes in Choele Choel (Rio Negro) -1000 km south from Buenos Aires-, where the weather and quality of soil allow us to harvest new potatoes of the highest quality, 9 months per year. As soon as they are harvested, new potatoes are processed and frozen in our plant in Gaiman (Chubut), with a production capacity of 20 tons/day.
As the new potatoes are harvested fresh, their skin is very thin, soft and imperceptible in the bite and as they are partially cooked with their skin, new potatoes keep all their diet and taste properties.
Our potatoes are partially cooked by a water vapour stream and then frozen by our own process resulting in new potatoes with 70% internal humidity and 30% external humidity.
This technology gives them taste and gourmet qualities and one of its effects is that they absorb juices and sauces in a much complete and fast way.
We count among our costumers top level restaurants and catering services, as well as supermarkets and hypermarkets.
